How deep do you grind the stump?
We typically grind stumps to 200mm below ground level, allowing the area to be covered with soil, grass, or landscaping. If you have specific depth requirements, we can discuss the best option for your project.
Will stump grinding damage my lawn or property?
Our equipment is designed to minimise disruption to surrounding areas. We take care to protect your lawn, gardens, and nearby structures while completing the job safely and efficiently.
What happens to the wood chips after grinding?
The grinding process creates mulch-like wood chips. We can leave them onsite in the hole left from the stump or for garden use or remove them as part of our cleanup service.
How long does stump grinding take?
Most residential stump grinding jobs can be completed within a few hours, depending on the size and number of stumps.
Can you remove large or difficult stumps?
Yes. We have the equipment to handle stumps of all sizes, including those in tight-access or challenging locations.
Do I need to be home during the service?
Not always. As long as we have clear access to the work area and arrangements have been made beforehand, we can often complete the work while you’re away.
Why should I remove a tree stump?
Old stumps can attract pests, create trip hazards, interfere with landscaping, and take up valuable space. Removing them improves both the safety and appearance of your property.
